Origin and inspiration
The design of the Leitz Hektor T2.1 lenses is inspired by Leica’s classic M lenses from the 1930s, 1950s, and 1970s, as well as 19th-century Petzval designs, to recreate effects such as field curvature, colourful flares, and subtle spherical aberration.
