The Barcelona World Race, a long-awaited sporting event has started just before the end of 2010 and OVIDE has been there providing 6 Canon HDTV zoom stabilizing lens HJ15ex8.5B KRSE-V, and Panasonic P2 format cameras and other accessories, to the organization and TVE.

The Barcelona World Race is the first only double-handed (two-crew) non-stop regatta around the world in three months. It started on December 31st and it will be broadcast daily. These zoom lens are fitted with the stabilizing system VAP-IS (Vari Angle Prism Image-Stabilizer), which makes it ideal to shoot outside since it provides a wide range of absorbed frequencies of exterior vibrations generated by the operator himself while carrying the camera on his shoulder, the tripod, platforms, wind, carriers such as a motorcycles, cars, helicopters or even vessels, due to the fact these lenses provide four different types of stabilizers.
